contact your local early ford v8 club- possibly in sacramento, you may consider rebuilding or replacing your engine with another flathead than building with a modern engine; things to consider are motor mounts ,transmission mounts, purchasing a frame k member kit to alter it, rear end, driveshaft, new radiator, motor, wiring, the list goes on....you may want to calculate the cost of these items and ask yourself if is condusive to your budget----good luck.........gump
