Re: 4 Cyl C Block
That is a very tricky question. It depends on if you're trying to sell it, or buy it and if it has been ran in a car, or just sitting in the garage still a fresh rebuild. If i were selling it, and i knew everything was in good shape it would probably ask about 1500-1800 just because anybody who buys it will question the machine work inside of it. Whether the babbit is truly in cood condition, and if everything was put together correctly. Now if i was going to buy that motor i would probably only give around 1000 maybe a little more for it if i knew the condition of the internals. And the only reason i would pay less, is because there is no guarantee. Meaning there is no warranty with it, and if it were to break, i would be out that money. And this is all based on if it were still a fresh rebuild from the 70's. If its been ran in a car for any length of time, i would pretty much cut both prices in half.
