HI: Sound like your in for a lot of work but one thing you better buy is the book called model a ford hand book macanic's hand book vol 1 by Les Anderws. In the book tells you how to take the glass out of the door and alot of other things. I couldn't have done my car with out it.But any way the window comes out from the top of the door you have to take the top of the door off I think it's like 5 or 6 screws. But that's how you get the window out. I take it this is your first model a. If it is BUY the book that I said by Les. It tells you how to do most of the stuff that you are going to have to do. To get it apart and put back together, No matter if your going to make a hot rod out of it BUY THE BOOK. Have fun reggiedog
