Default Re: How many of you do your own work?

So, half way thru the year between 81 & 82, I still try to do lots of things myself. I am trying to decide whether to rebuild one of both of my Holley 94's, or put on one of the commie repo 's on Buelah. I don't have a garage or shed, she's in a snow drift right now.
I also plan on replacing the 6v fuel pump and filters.
My body plays tricks on me a lot, but I try to do as much as I can cuz my brain thinks I'm 40. I've run wire, done minor plumbing etc, installed new outlets...
But new cars are different. My wife's car goes to the dealer. I open the hood and marvel that they Jam that much stuff in there.
My dd is a 2007 Wrangler 2door soft top. It is On the 3rd top, I installed them all. I used to change the oil, but that's a pain now. I changed the wheels tires from 17s to 18s just after Covid( got it like a cold). The Jeep looks look but I can't lift the spare, I don't have the strength any more. There is a good shop in town that I go to now.
But, I try to do everything on the 52. It is my project as long as possible. JP Lutz
