Re: What did you do today that was flathead V8 related?
I went to an “Antique Tractor and Engine Show” at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum in Eliot Maine last weekend. I brought my “59” stationary engine that powered a water pump at the S.D. Warren Papermill in Westbrook Maine. I think it was the only V8 there on Friday. A lot of meticulously restored tractors, one-lunger and hit & miss engines.Real works of art for sure. Met a bunch of nice people. One guy lives about twenty minutes from, claims he has 30-40 single cylinder and hit-miss engines. Because of his age, he wants to start selling a few……soooo……..I think I got room for one………Mark
