Here are a couple pics. On the complete assembled engine you will see the red wire underneath exiting a port.That goes to the coil.I can't remember if the gen wire exited that same port.Second pic is of my engine.You can see the loom resting under the tube in front .That goes to the gen. So the gen wire does exit that port.Originally The coil wire does not exit the front of the tube because there is a rubber boot connecting the tube to the outer dist cap.
