Spent a couple of hours this morning installing a new accessory on my 1962 Galaxie 500XL: a period-correct FM-converter. Probably paid too much for it $37 + tax and shipping. Just had to have it though. Yeah, I know I could have purchased a perfect fit am/fm/mp3/bluetooth radio but I wanted to keep the original AM radio. Note the
CONELRAD triangles at 640 and 1240 dial (I've never seen an aftermarket radio that has these.)
It works. Just like it did back in the day.
