Default Re: Electric gas gauge for 1935/36 pickup

The 35 and 36 deluxe gauges are very similar, both use the same bezel and fit in the same size opening. The 35 deluxe gauge is oil/fuel. The fuel side of the gauge is the hydrostatic version. The 36 deluxe dual gauge is also oil/fuel however the 36 version employs an electric sending unit and corresponding electric gauge head.

When Planojc stated, in part, ' I put a 36 gauge in my 35 cabriolet with a sending unit from Tanks and it works great. The 36 gauge was a perfect fit. This makes sense, he hooked the Tanks sending unit to an original 36 electric gauge head.
