The 32 year only has casting bosses in the shifter top for emergency brake, and yes other years had the emergency brake "mounted" to the shifter tip via a bracket. I regards the the numbers cas3 was asking for, they are at the bottom and would help determine the era of build. 18- or 48- or 78-7006 will be cast into case right below the lower cluster shaft. Is the shifter tower straight up and down, or at an angle?
