How about posting some pictures... there seems to be not enough clarification about shifter tops, and "numbers". The 32 year only has casting bosses in the shifter top for emergency brake, and yes other years had the emergency brake "mounted" to the shifter tip via a bracket. I regards the the numbers cas3 was asking for, they are at the bottom and would help determine the era of build. 18- or 48- or 78-7006 will be cast into case right below the lower cluster shaft. Is the shifter tower straight up and down, or at an angle?
