Check your state laws on the time an insurance company has to settle your claim. See if your state has an insurance commission you can complain to for them not acting in good faith. The mere threat usually gets them in line since they don't want a black mark from the state. Lastly and most expensive is an attorney. Did you have comprehensive insurance on the car? Here in CA if the other company is non responsive you get the car fixed on your policy (paying the deductible) and they in turn sue the other company. You get your deductible back first from any settlement.
