Default Re: Spare tire covers available at Classtique

My friend was a trimmer, and is disabled now.I talked to him about making spare tire covers, and open car arm pads. What shocked me was that while the square feet of materials used in a spare tire cover was small, you have to use a big piece to get it.If you want one piece panels, you have to cut them out of a 3X3 piece of material. Not normally a scrap sized piece. To cut a corner you could use scrap pieces for the back panel, facing the car,but you would have a few seams in it.The only trimmer local to me will make them, time and materials,$85.per hour plus materials. He has done a few,he says to bring him a mounted tire and figure on two hours. He also said if we wanted 10 of them, same size and materials,to be bought all at once,he would charge one hour labor each.
