there is a lot of confusion with the 239.all 54 car were EBU where the confusion comes from is the early trucks used the same engine.then in the middle of the year they went to the EBV block.its the same block all 55 239s used.it still had all the odd 54 parts but the block was the same as 55 small cam etc.
