The EBV block s/b a 55 block so you may have a 55 engine. There should be some bosses on the side of the block for sedan engine mounts. Sedans used side mounts plus the rear mount. In addition, sedans in 54 and 55 used what was called a steady rest at the front that looks like an engine mount. This was to "steady" the engine. Trucks used a front mount and side mounts that are part of the bellhousing.

The engine has the large front motor mount still intact. Also has the transmission support as well. Are these the only mounts for this engine? Don't see any bosses where side block mounts would go on either side. Not being that familiar with the early trucks, could someone more knowledgeable than myself clear this up for me. Thanks in advance for your help.
