Default Re: Model "A" Engineering Drawings

The Model A era parts drawings are housed at the Benson Ford Research Center at the Henry Ford.

Their online database has hundreds if not thousands of Model A parts drawings and engineering releases available for review and download right now.

If the drawing you are looking for is not available online you can ask the Benson to do research for a fee ($35). They'll find the drawing, scan it, and email you a high res copy. After that they take the high res image and post it to their online database for anyone else to search and find at a later date. Find out how here; https://askus.thehenryford.org/FAQs/faq/380538

The Benson seems to upload images of items in their collections without prompting based on things being funded by grants or other special donations. Meaning, an archivist doesn't walk in in the morning and say "I think I'm going to scan and upload all the parts drawings for Model A headlights today". So if you're waiting for a particular part to appear online you'll either have to pay for it yourself or hope someone else has a similar interest and requests it first.
