If you find it comes up a touch short backing the stud out of the block a bit would work as well. The deciding factor is how high a torque you use if its 50 I don't see why what it would not work.

Thanks for the info Ronnie, The nut only makes it about halfway, a thinner washer would help, but not enough, and I feel best when the stud is bottomed out on the deck. I'll contact Allen's tomorrow as they're closed on Mondays. Thanks again.
