Re: Leaking gas tank
Are you planning on keeping the car? Do you want it fixed right or just the cheapest way?
Two years ago, I sold our 1929 that we owned for 42 years. 40 years ago I fixed the same problem. Removed the tank, not that big a job. Cleaned and sloshed the tank, sloshed twice. Re installed. Never leaked again. Even keeping the steering column mount in orginal place.
