Busmania: Post #8 in the thread below will allow your BATT gauge to function properly.
I also reduced the incoming 12V to the dash gauges using a Constant Voltage Reducer. However, this still required that I isolate the BATT gauge and install a separate 60 Ohm resistor in a separate 12 line that feeds only the BATT gauge.
