99% sure the color names and color code letters that Ford used only relate to their in-house PR/marketing and documentation. Sometimes paint names were changed in different years even tho the same paint was used.
Example: code "T" Skyhaze Green in '54 is the same paint color as Thunderbird Blue in '55.
And the same 'name' might be used for slightly different paint colors.
Ford paint color names and code letters could change from year-to-year, or not. As the Marketing Dept. could chose to keep things 'new & improved'.

The various paint manufacturers have their own letter/number color formula designations not directly related to the in-house FoMoCo numbers.
As mentioned, the older ingredients may no longer be available, some discontinued by govt regulations.
