I don't see where it would matter if the bolts point downward. I filled clamshell until I saw grease inside the speedometer turtle opening as shown in third photo. Ignore that little clear plastic tube you see alongside the grease cartridge in 4th photo. That's just a little something I made so I could add grease from the top of the clamshell instead of crawling under the car.
