Re: White wall tires
The white wall is well inset into the tire carcass. The lack of carbon to keep the white is not as strong as the rubber with the much higher carbon content. With this and the tendency for the white rubber to yellow and deteriorate faster, I tend to shy away from white wall tires. They take more maintenance to keep them looking white too.
