The 46-48 sedans aren't bringing what they should around here. My 46 Fordor would bring $6-7k I think if I sold it in this area. The car runs and drives, has new brakes gas tank, ect. Project cars that are torn apart are a tough, tough sell even if something rare. I have a flyer for a 55 Crown Vic glass top that's in pieces on my desk. It's been for sale for several years with no takers. On a side note I went to visit my Dad yesterday on his 89th birthday. I try not to look too hard but I think he has 20 unrestored tractors. He knows the era where they were in demand has passed and he's running out of time. My opinion is the numbers Alan mentioned would be a really good day and Kube's numbers may be more reality. If you do find someone that is ambitious enough to restore it make them a sweet deal and I'll bet your Dad would approve.
