Whenever I’m asked about my first car, I think about including the full race forty with a quick change and no starter motor that I had a “piece of” back in the mid fifties. I never saw it race because I had a paper route and was never available for that, and never got my $50 back after it flipped and rolled. I did enjoy pushing it to start and feeling the sound of those straight pipes in my gut!
