Default Re: A jailbar woodie on Bring a Trailer

In 54 years of owning vehicles, I have never owned a whitewall tire. I once bought a nice diesel 3/4 ton 4x4 suburban that had raised white outline tires. Before I got on the ferry for home I bought a can of flat black and a roll of tape and rattle canned the sidewalls in home depot parking lot. The tires pictured aren't for everyone, but four of these 7.50 x 16s on that thing would change up the entire thing. And I came up with how to fix the wheelbase. With the new bigger diameter tires fitted, scribe a fair curve down the rear of the front wheel opening. If it's too hard to roll a bead after that, I'd weld a piece of EMT in there to simulate it.
