I think that you hit it .
My original clutch is 9 inches.
My FW is an early one. The PP mounting holes are blind bore holes, indicating pre war PP
Now I need a 10 in PP for 46-48 59 AB
Or I'm going to take a look at getting the PP from my 8 CM motor.
I understand that the problem is how the starter gear engages the ring gear
Anyone figured this out ???
