I bought my 29 Roadster off the MAFCA site. I probably paid a little more for it but it met my criteria. I wanted a car within driving distance so I could see and drive it, and I wanted a car registered in California to minimize the hassle with DMV.

The MAFCA site worked out well for me. The seller did tell me he turned down several buyer who he deemed scammers.
