I have not had any issues with the condenser, probably because I have a modern style type mounted on the breaker plate, with a phony looks to be original shell where it would have originally been installed. It's only downside I have realized is that it blocks access to the distributor mounting bolt, making it necessary to remove the manifold to pull the distributor.
