We have been using this stuff off and on for years up here in Alaska. It does leave a film that will not come off at the drive thru car washes, and will not come off with just the high press wand at the do it your self car wash. The only way I have been able to get it off , is to use the brush and the high press wand at the do it your self wash , or go to the car wash and get the worst off with the high press wand then wash it by hand using a good automotive car wash liquid. I use Armor all car wash liquid.
