Been running one for 35 years on an Edmonds intake. I recently came to posses a 1957 283 'Power Pack" version. Much improved carb vs the 55 Buick I had. Thankfully the float bowel and lid are interchangeable.
Much improved accelerator pump, venturi boosters and secondary air valve.
My motor (basically stock duel exhaust and Chev type distributer liked 1" of spacer between intake and carb.
If your not a purist this would be the carb to use.
