I have a generator, not an alternator. I did just install a new 2 bladed aluminum fan from Synders which is supposed to be a copy of the original except thats its aluminum.
Possibly my crank pulley is not original. Someone added a metal pointer and a mark on the crank pulley which I assume is to show TDC. Ill remove the generator pulley, place the belt on it and see if I can reconnect the pulley.
