Yes , 10,000 miles seems to be pretty common on the bias ply tires, the guys running radials are getting a little more out of them.
I'm in the same class as ronn,,, I don't put that many miles on the car so they will 'time out' before I wear them out. Meaning they will be needing changed due to getting old
Seven years is kinda the 'shelf life' of tires so my alignment guy has always stressed to me.
