Dual exhaust
I am putting an 8BA engine in my 48 Mercury convertible. I have already done what is necessary to use my existing three speed tranny and have the 8RT water pumps. I have the original exhaust manifolds and want to put dual exhaust on the car. There is a person on the net that makes dual exhaust for the 48 Merc, but says you must use the original manifolds. So my question is. 48 car with a 59A engine but now I have a 50 8BA engine. Will his system work or what has someone else done to get dual exhaust?
