The 20W50 oil is probably better for an older engine that tends to burn oil. Either one is close to what Ford called for.
In South florida, where there is no winter, really, I used to run straight SAE 40 oil all year round. But it is easier to find the 15W40 today than it is straight 40.

I must be mistaken as I thought the Model A was originally filled with straight 30.....If 40 is the case Shell Rotella T6 15w40 wins
