With the present set up, if I do not run the carb dry, it does not seem to leak. If I run it dry when shutting it off, it eventually leaks.

I have had nothing but grief from the repro valves. There is not any rust in my tank and I have a 'pencil filter' in the valve.They still leak after awhile even tho they are "Guaranteed not to leak".
I finally put in a second valve and have not looked back since.
