Thanks to all that responded. It sounds like epoxy primer followed by Concept black is in order after beadblasting the taillight housing. After sandblasting or beadblasting on regular sheetmetal items, I spray them with epoxy primer. I now use the epoxy primer that Southern Polyurethanes in GA makes. The primer is less expensive than PPG DPx0 epoxy primer and sands much, much better, if sanding is necessary. I will spray the teacup once the weather is better here in MN with epoxy primer then the black top coat.
