My new to me 37 coupe came with the super long shackles on the front causing the axle to be right down on the bump stops. Not good.
I ended up building a spring spreader to remove them. I cut off two inches and made new (square) holes. Would have been worth it to buy new but I didn’t know the holes were square before I started.
Typical for me - a half day project turns in to a two day project.
