Gary - None of the mirrors that you can get through the vendors work on the 31 slant window cars. I've already been through this. One person who answered my inquiry months ago had one set he had fashioned that he sold to me and they work great. The issue, as you've undoubtedly found out, is the angle the arms are bent to. They are not enough (for some reason) on the 31s. They are fine on the other cars, apparently.
One person told me to simply take the regular vendor mirrors and heat and bend them. I don't have the tools to do that or rechrome them either.
