Two suggestions. The seal does not have to be in the same place the old one was. You can either leave 1/8 inch or so outside the transmission case or possibly drive it about 1/8 inch farther in. The other suggestion is to install a speedi sleeve over the yoke. You need a good set of calipers. https://www.skf.com/us/products/indu...-speedi-sleeve
