There are numerous differences between a Brookville roadster body and a original body, with the three most obvious being the absence of raised pockets on the top of the quarter panels for the ends of wood tack strip that forms the back of the package tray (see photos below), the lack of a pronounced outward flare of the sides of the quarter panels immediately above the rear wheel houses, and the lack of the C-shaped steel channels under the bottom of the doors for the T-shaped rubber weather strips.

There are other less obvious differences in the doors, cowl, and floor.

With respect, as not all original '32 bodies have had rust issues in their quarter panels, the absence of patch panels is not conclusive proof as to the body's origins.
