Ah okay DD. If the remains of the key is intact a key maybe be cut from that also if a code can be pulled off the cuts.If not The cyl will still have to be removed to have a key cut or take the car to the locksmith and have him try to pick the lock.The only person I knew that could do that is retired and is in Iowa.
Also maybe the door lock cyl would be a clue.same key? If unknown- remove and have a key cut to that code. There is a chance that it is.
