We will need to agree to disagree. Many of my cars sit for months as well. With little more than 15 to 30 seconds of the starter turning and the choke pulled, they all start.
It really comes down to how well the vehicle was built and maintained.
I have NO issue with those that install electric pumps for any number of reasons. Hey, I say enjoy your car for all the time you are able.
I do take exception with those that don't want to or are unable to build their cars so as to operate as they were designed and still expect to "win" on the concourse.
We all have choices to make. One of those choices should never be "I can't "win" with the current rules so let's change them".
