No records exist. But years ago M-H gurus Chuck Mantiglia and Don Chew got together to compare notes. Chuck told me they agreed that about 200 half tons per year were converted.

Since my main interest is the tonner and 3/4 ton models I’ve taken a little different track on the production counts. I’ve archived the unique axle numbers of surviving trucks I’ve found. These trucks include the <47 Tonner Model OT5-4, 48-51 3/4 ton single speed transfer case model R3-4, 51/52 two speed transfer case model R32-4, and early 1953 M254s. Looks like the same 200 to 300 range applies here too. Stu
