what you have is a 6 cylinder cross member for a 1941 1/2 ton pick up. I have owned 2- 1941 4 cylinder pick ups and they use the regular cross member. this cross member came about with the us army request for 6 cylinder engines. after about midyear 1941 they all had the dropped cross member in the big trucks, probably about the same in pick ups
