Two 1955 Fords; a fordor sedan and a Courier sedan delivery wagon. I have owned the sedan for 40 years and have always used it as a daily driver. It has 292 Y-block with original 272 intake manifold and EBU 2-bbl carb, Fordomatic trans. Drove it 60+ miles a day up until I handed it over to my sister for a couple years till she could save enough to buy a decent car, then she gave it back to me and we kept going 60 miles a day until the end of 2015 when I retired.
The Courier came from the factory with 272 Y-block and Fordomatic trans. When I got the car, everything was gone but the frame and body shell less front clip. I decided to install a 223 I-block 6-cyl with Fordomatic trans. A four-year body-off-frame restoration was complete in 2000.
