According to The Restoration Guidelines page 2-12 Revised 2011:
"The correct connectors from the distributor to spark plugs were stamped from 26 gauge bronze which had a copper color. From the beginning of production through May 1930 the connector ends were symmetrical (rather than offset). A new design was introduced in June 1930 in which the ends were offset (for more efficient use of bronze sheet stock). Both types were 3 1/8" from the center of the hole to the end of the prongs. The spark plug nut was round, knurled brass, 7/16" in diameter and 7/32" high."
