The OF is one of the more popular aftermarket carbs, in the day and today. I am not following why you would feel that modern gas would be an issue? People run vaporizers with todays gas with no fire issue. There are very few complete as sold OF's (hot air pipe and exhaust manifolds), most just use the hot air pipe as needed or a home made hot stove setup like what is used normally on the NH or Holley.
