Soak those threads with a good penetrating oil for 2-3 days. If the collar has a series of holes around the end opposite to threads, use a spanner wrench of the correct size to remove. If no holes, use a good strap wrench, maybe one with a chain that can be locked tightly around the collar. https://www.zoro.com/irwin-vise-grip...0r/i/G0464222/ Good luck.
