As Y block said above this is for 28 - 29 cars.

This method allows the installation without making holes in the car.

I left the upper half of bracket on the tank in case someone wants to return the mount to original ... Some folks cut the bracket off.

Looks better to me to leave bracket in place and leave out the rubber "strap" between the column and the bracket.

FYI. There are two version of the 31 mounting bracket.

1. One for left hand drive available from vendors..

2. One for right hand drive. I do not know if anyone makes a repro of the RHD unit...


I saved this from Old Ford Barn that someone posted from years ago ...

It worked very well for me when I did it a number of years ago.
