when I took my 29 roadster doors apart they had some type of insulation in them , but I do not know what it was. I can only tell you that it had to be put in there before the inner and outer door parts were joined together. I destroyed the stuff trying to get it out of the round holes on the inner structure. I too that stuff out about 10 years ago. the project has been on hold that long, but my brother and I have started working on it again, so I will have to make a decision as what to put back in there. I am glad this thread has come along when it did. any one know what the original stuff was? any ideas what would be good for a roadster? remember open car with no roof, or top planned.
