Personally I would use metal all the way, probably Ni-copp as it is easier to form than steel.

Also I would install an inertia switch or some other similar device to shut off the electric pump if something BAD were to happen and you were not able to. Just something to think about.

A guy in our club just had a fire in his new (to him) PU. It had a setup like you are using now.
